Petroleum Engineering and Management?

I was curious, if I pursue a double major in Pete.E. and BBA, can I use my business skills during the time off in my schedule? I understand that petroleum engineers get as much time off as they are on, and if I work for a private firm can i use some of that time off to do extra work. My goal is to someday be the president/ceo of an engineering firm and this seems like a good path. Also what universities have good pete. engineering and business programs?
